I hate to say this, but I find KK donuts absolutely tasteless. I don’t drink coffee, and last I checked Krispy Kreme didn’t serve tea, so I got one of their donuts once with a cup of hot chocolate… and almost died from the sweetness. The next time I went I asked them if they could give me a donut without the frosting. They looked at me a little weird, but gave me the frosting-less donut (they pulled it right off the line, before it went under the hot sugar bath). And when I bit into it, it was like… well, I don’t know. It was kind of like eating slightly chewy air. It had no taste at all, and no real texture to speak of. That was the last time I went to KK.

I told Kevin once that I didn’t like Krispy Kreme donuts, and he looked at me like I had just told him that I had eaten his dog.
